Mallam ABDULAZEEZ OSOHO OGBOLE, was born on January 11th, 1959 in keana in keana local government council of NASARAWA state. He graduated from the prestigious Bayero university kano, kano state with a BSC (HONS) SOCIOLOGY, 1983 and a master’s degree in public Administration from university of Jos, plateau state. He attended various courses and training in within and outside the country. In February, 2012 he attended a training programme in procurement in south Africa, organized by AFRICA CAPACITY BUILDING FOUNDATION (ACBF) based in Zimbabwe. In 2012, he attended a dedicated three (3) weeks seminar in Beijing China on public procurement for developing countries. He worked with the defunct NIGERIAN TELECOMMUNICATIONS PLC for twenty-five (25) years from 1985 to 2010 and rosed to the rank of SENIOR MANAGER (HUMAN RESOURCES). During service years in NITEL, he served as Head of Personnel management in about three states and also served as Personal Assistant to the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (HUMAN RESOURCES AND CORPORATE SERVICES). In 2010 he was on secondment to CENTRE FOR MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT (CMD) and subsequently transferred his service to CMD in 2011, where he retired as a Director, DG’S OFFICE on 11th January, 2019 on attaining the age of sixty (60) years, which is the mandatory retirement age in the civil service of the Federal republic of Nigeria. While in CMD, among other duties, he was uncharged of the infrastructures, ensuring that the CMD, provide a world class customer service and acted as the spokesperson for the Centre and build awareness programme and success story about the Centre. Since March, 2021, have been serving as the Technical Assistant to DG of ICICE, with the overall job objectives of providing technical support to the DG, ease the pressure on the chief Executive, so as to concentrate on key policy issues for the overall achievement of the goals and vision of the founding father of the centre (ICICE). As a TECHNICAL ASSISTANT in addition to the above, below are his roles and responsibilities: (A) prepared response on key issues raised by the CEO related to day-to- day matters /or related to Management board. (B) prepares any other reports and when needed by the CEO. (C) Contribute to various committees in the centre as assigned by the CEO. (D) Participate in various meetings as chaired by the DG and prepare related reports, briefs and outcome. (E) Communicate the messages of the DG to ICICE staff and Department responsible. (F) Undertake research, investigation and clarifications and after meetings and follow up as needed. Finally, Mallam Abdulazeez served as a member VISION :2020, to draw up a blue print for development of Nigeria.
