Haj. Amina Abdullahi whose hobbies include Travelling, Reading and Taking Care of Kids and Elderly is the Director of ICICE’s CARE unit that handles the Provision of Access to Education and Skills Development, Supporting Communities to access affordable and sustainable health care services, Providing access to opportunities in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) development and government intervention projects. CDSW headed by Amina Abdullahi is also responsible for linking target Communities with ICICE’s humanitarian activities such as the routine Medical Outreach to indigent communities nationwide, Feeding of Fasting Muslims during the month of Ramadan as well as the Collection and Distribution of Zakkat and Sadaqah. Prior to joining the ICICE, she spent 35 years working as a Civil Servant at State and National levels including 21 years at Management level in the Oil & Gas especially in the investment sector. Her first public service was her employment as Architect 1 by Kaduna State Housing Authority in 1979 to 1981 then appointed Senior Architect by Kaduna State Urban Development Board in 1981 and served in that capacity till 1987 when she moved to her (then newly created) home State, Katsina, and later (the same year) appointed General Manager, Katsina State Housing Authority and served till 1990. Amina Abdullahi was Permanent Secretary, Katsina State Ministry of Works, and Housing and at Ministry of Lands and Survey, from 1990 to 1993. She joined the services of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in 1993 and was the Head of Department, Project Support Service, Engineering & Technology Division, NNPC Apapa Lagos, from 1993 to 1996; General Manager, Property Investment Department, Commercial and Investment Directorate, NNPC Headquarters Abuja, 1996 to 2007; Group General Manager, Investment Division, NNPC Headquarters, Abuja, August 2007 to July 2009 and Managing Director, NNPC Properties Ltd. from July 2009 to June 2014. Haj. Amina Abdullahi, born on 24th October, 1955 in Katsina State, attended the Local Education Authority Primary School, Sabon Gari, Kaduna, from 1963 to 1970; Queen Elizabeth (Secondary) School Ilorin, Kwara State, 1970 to 1974; School of Basics Studies, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, 1974 to 1975; read for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture, at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1975 to 1979, Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Management, University of Nottingham England, 1985 and another Post Graduate Diploma in Economics & Marketing of Petroleum Products from College of Petroleum & Energy Studies Oxford, England, 1993. Impeccably, she acquired High skills in Administrative Management, has Strong foundation in Architectural Designs and Development, Experience in Project Concept, Development, Designs and Management, acquired good facility Management Skill in Real Estate and good understanding of the critical elements of Project Management, from concept to close out.
