The ICICE established in 2012 focuses on interfaith dialogue, training in order to diffuse misconceptions in Islamic Finance industry, Science of Qur’an and Arabic language courses, Islamic cultural heritage and historical exhibition, art and craft skills development to the less privileged youth, poverty eradication program, children summer schools, Scholarship programs and many other cultural promotional drivers. The Centre extends its relationship with local Universities, training organizations and identified scholars to complement the International standard status and expose the Locals to such experience.
ICICE in Brief
Waqf (Endowment Fund) would be developed and managed by the Centre to ensure continuity of some Non-Profit activities/programs such as poverty eradication and scholarship.
In addition, the Centre will in the nearest future co-locate with some commercial ventures to be developed. These will include Eye Hospital, Women Sports Centre, Shopping Mall, Hotel, Conference/Exhibition Centre, Offices, Amphitheatre, Microfinance Banks and Printing Press. The Centre will partner with Interested Financiers to develop and operate the commercial ventures in the near future.
